Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Luis De Teixiera (ranked 4530 p4p, 4335 weight class) and Russell Reed (ranked 476 p4p, 454 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think De Teixiera might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Starry Starry Night - Don Mclean. The crowd seem to be enjoying Reed's choice of entrance music: Like That. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Luis De Teixiera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Russell Reed!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Teixiera comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Reed lands with an overhand left.
De Teixiera lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reed's sensitive parts.
De Teixiera throws out a head kick that Reed doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Reed crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Reed's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
It looks like Russell Reed has been cut.
Reed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
