Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Melvin Van Manhoef (ranked 4385 p4p, 4337 weight class) and Timothy Spence (ranked 466 p4p, 456 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Spence's choice of entrance music: He's A Mental Giant. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Darius Henderson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Manhoef throws a lazy right hand but Spence sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Van Manhoef throws the left hand but Spence avoids the punch easily.
Spence slips a straight right by Van Manhoef.
Van Manhoef definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Van Manhoef looks to land a right hand but Spence moved out of range.
Van Manhoef throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Spence uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Van Manhoef.
Spence throws an overhand right that lands on Van Manhoef's shoulder, as Van Manhoef tries to avoid the shot.
Spence tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Spence is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Van Manhoef.
Spence blocks a jab.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Spence.
A little feinted left hand from Van Manhoef on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Spence lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Spence stalks Van Manhoef and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Van Manhoef's face. Van Manhoef staggers backwards, shaken.
Van Manhoef uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Spence has time to react.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Van Manhoef loads up on a big right hand but Spence slips the punch.

and Spence counters with a straight right hand.
Spence moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Spence is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Van Manhoef moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Spence counters with a big uppercut that drops Van Manhoef face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!
