And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onigawa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Thatcherton throws out a powerful jab.
Thatcherton definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Onigawa slips a straight right by Thatcherton.
Thatcherton cracks Onigawa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Thatcherton lands a jab to Onigawa's midsection.
Thatcherton misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Onigawa counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Thatcherton won't allow Onigawa to pass to mount.
Thatcherton is defending against the submission attempts here by Onigawa.
Onigawa tries to pass to full mount but Thatcherton defends it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Onigawa has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Thatcherton defend it? Onigawa steps over the head and cranks it - Thatcherton is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Onigawa!
