Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Ramos (ranked 830 p4p, 2357 weight class) and Kendo Yakuza (ranked 107 p4p, 275 weight class). Franz Ramos is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Franz Ramos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kendo Yakuza! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by Yakuza or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramos, which made it look bad. Ramos avoids a punch combination nicely.
Yakuza throws a right hand that misses
and Ramos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Ramos scores with a hook.
It looks like Kendo Yakuza has been cut. Yakuza closes the distance and clinches up with Ramos, looking for a takedown. Yakuza pushes Ramos against the cage but Ramos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Yakuza misses with a takedown attempt - Ramos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Franz Ramos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kendo Yakuza. Yakuza takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ramos has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Purpose Martial Arts Academy in the buildup to the fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yakuza shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ramos pinned against the cage. Ramos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Yakuza looks winded! Ramos lands a big uppercut and Yakuza crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Yakuza looks OK. Ramos waves Yakuza back to his feet!
Yakuza is rocked! Kendo Yakuza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Yakuza.
Ramos fakes the body blow, causing Yakuza to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Yakuza goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Franz Ramos!
