The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russell tries to bum rush John with a series of wild strikes but John uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Russell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A shot to the liver by John. Beautiful body shot.
Jordan Russell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Russells jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Jordan Russell has been cut.
John ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Russell keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Russell throws a lazy right hand but John sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
John looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Russell moves out of range as John strikes.
Russell misses with a two punch combination.
John looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Russell pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
John missing with a left hand there. Russell was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

A little jabbing left from John on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Russell misses with a hook.
John cracks Russell with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
John misses with an uppercut. Russell saw that one coming.
Russell throws a looping overhand right but John ducks down to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Russell slips a jab from John.
Russell moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Russell is rocked!
Russell throws a looping overhand right but John ducks down to avoid it.
Oh Russell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
John drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Russell's head, knocking him out cold! John is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jimmy John!
