Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Italian Stallion (ranked 3879 p4p, 3828 weight class) and Cottonpicker Curtis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Italian Stallion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cottonpicker Curtis! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stallion moves into the clinch. Curtis tries to throw a body punch but Stallion avoids it by throwing Curtis back against the cage. Stallion lands a takedown into guard.
Stallion landing some decent shots from guard. Curtis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stallion is controlling him. Stallion with a flurry of punches that miss. Stallion controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curtis is looking to stand up but Stallion isn't so interested in that idea. Stallion is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stallion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Curtis has a closed guard, preventing Stallion from standing up. Stallion chips away with some ground and pound. Stallion preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Curtis wants to control but Stallion passes easily into half guard.
Well, if Stallion is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Curtis felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Curtis is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stallion closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Curtis to the mat! Curtis manages to get full guard. Stallion might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Stallion decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Curtis avoids the head kick by Stallion.
Stallion has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stallion decides to pull guard. Stallion is looking for a triangle but Curtis pushes his legs off easily.
Stallion has Curtis pulled in close to control his posture. Stallion has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Curtis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Curtis wants to control from the top but Stallion keeps moving. Stallion trying to control the position here. Curtis trying to control but Stallion is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Curtis tries to free his leg and advance position but Stallion is retaining full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stallion keeping moving, preventing Curtis from controlling successfully. Curtis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Italian Stallion dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Stallion moves in looking to clinch but Curtis pushes him off. Curtis tries to counter by closing the distance. Stallion fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Curtis to the ground. Stallion is now in Curtis's guard. Curtis looking to control but Stallion passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Curtis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Stallion is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Stallion wants to advance to full mount but Curtis doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Curtis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stallion preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Curtis looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Curtis is breathing heavily. Stallion is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Italian Stallion overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Curtis is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stallion darts in and clinches Curtis up against the cage. Curtis looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curtis avoiding damage as Stallion throws knees to the body.
Stallion gets control of Curtis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stallion will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Curtis wants to pass the guard but Stallion is keeping the position. Stallion looking to hit a scissor sweep but Curtis is one step ahead there. Curtis wants to control from the top but Stallion keeps moving. Stallion managing to control the position. Stallion wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Curtis passes easily into side control. Nice work. Curtis trying to control the position but Stallion is working away. Stallion tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Curtis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Curtis is looking to take a break and control but Stallion is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stallion on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stallion tries to get out of the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stallion is trying to get back to half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Stallion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Curtis was covering up waiting for the punch and Stallion finishes the takedown easily into guard. Stallion controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Stallion trying to control the position from guard on top but Curtis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curtis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curtis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Stallion tries to get to full guard but Curtis has control of the leg. Stallion trying to control here.

Stallion is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Curtis is controlling him. Curtis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stallion is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Curtis trying to control but Stallion is working from the bottom. Stallion seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Stallion throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Curtis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Stallion is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Curtis sees it coming and defends easily. Curtis is trying to control but can't.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Curtis is pressing down on Stallion's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Stallion lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stallion engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Curtis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stallion is one step ahead there.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Curtis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stallion to score an easy takedown into full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Curtis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that's the end of the fight! Italian Stallion showed his dominance in that final round. Well Stallion has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
