Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ching Chong (ranked 3522 p4p, 3468 weight class) and Storm Father (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Ching Chong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ching Chong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Storm Father! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong pushes Father up against the cage in a clinch. Chong looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Father prevents the takedown attempt.
Father throws a head punch that misses. Father working aggressively here.
Chong managing to block the knees to the body from Father.
Chong drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Father gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Father fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Father swings wildly with an uppercut but Chong uses good head movement to avoid it. Chong is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ching Chong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Father misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Chong.
Father lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Chong backwards. Father swings wildly with an uppercut but Chong uses good head movement to avoid it. A short uppercut from Father. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Father scores with an uppercut up the middle. Father lands an uppercut.
Father turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Father manages to end up in side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Father stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Father clinches up with Chong and pushes him back against the cage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Father swings wildly with an uppercut but Chong uses good head movement to avoid it. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Chong. Father lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Chong managing to block the knees to the body from Father.
Father pushes Chong back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Father throws a punch but it's blocked by Chong. Father fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Father pushes Chong back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Father misses with a short punch on the inside. Chong blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Father gets control of Chong's arms and successfully pulls guard. Father will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Father is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chong is controlling him.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Father manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Father catches Chong with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I was talking to Chong's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Father is pressed up against the cage. Chong has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Father down to the mat. Father avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Father takes the fight into the clinch. Father lands on the inside with an uppercut. Father gets through Chong's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Father gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chong looking for subs off his back but Father has passed one foot through into half guard.
It looks like Father is going to stand back up.
Chong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Father on the ground.
Father decides to return to a standing position.
Father clinches up with Chong and pushes him back against the cage. Father swings wildly with an uppercut but Chong uses good head movement to avoid it. Father scores with an uppercut up the middle.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Father lands a right hand that snaps the head of Chong backwards.
Father pulls guard successfully.
Father wants to stand up but Chong is controlling him. Chong wants to pass the guard but Father is keeping the position.
Father wriggles free and stands up.
Father rushes Chong and presses him up against the cage. Father throws a punch but it's blocked by Chong. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chong is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Storm Father dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Father scores with a shot to the body.
Father cracks Chong with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Father has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Chong to stand back up!
 Chong is rocked!
 It looks like Ching Chong has been cut. Chong takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Oh Chong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A big right followed by a crushing left from Father knocks Chong out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Storm Father! An out of breath Storm Father thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
