The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Undies avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Undies! But no joy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hanma seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Undies does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hanma is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Undies can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Undies can do anything to dispel that myth.

Undies really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hanma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hanma loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Undies scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hanma land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hanma stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Baki Hanma!
