Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23263 p4p, 23217 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 46 - 63 - 13, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 59 - 51 - 13, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mibangon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sapi sprawls well initially but Mibangon persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sapi is positioning himself well to prevent Mibangon advancing to mount. Sapi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mibangon is working away from the top position though. Mibangon trying to control the pace. Sapi tries to roll over but Mibangon keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sapi actively working from the bottom here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Sapi misses with a takedown attempt - Mibangon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mibangon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sapi counters with a body kick that stops Mibangon in his tracks momentarily. Sapi has his takedown stuffed and Mibangon counters with a good, hard body kick but Sapi shrugs it off. Mibangon goes for a double leg but Sapi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sapi continues to drive forward. Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mibangon blocks it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wala Sapi. Mibangon is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sapi pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sapi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mibangon has him pressed against the cage. Mibangon is trying to drag Sapi to the mat but Sapi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Mibangon is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mibangon tightens his grip and picks Sapi up, before dumping him to the ground. Sapi manages to land in guard. Mibangon controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sapi throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Sapi shoots in but no luck this time. And Mibangon counters with a quick kick to the body but Sapi blocks it. Mibangon gets a takedown into half guard. Mibangon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sapi can do to turn this around? Mibangon stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi controlling the position for now.

Sapi is looking for a sweep. Mibangon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mibangon content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mibangon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sapi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mibangon is working away from the top position though.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Mibangon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Sapi steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi shoots in for a takedown but Mibangon shows good takedown defense. Mibangon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Sapi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mibangon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sapi thinking. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wala Sapi. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sapi as he avoids it easily. Mibangon shoots for a takedown but Sapi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mibangon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sapi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sapi tries to bench press Mibangon off him but Mibangon keeps the position. Mibangon trying to control the action but Sapi is working from the bottom. Mibangon working the body and head with strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon is looking to take a break and control but Sapi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that second round. That's time! Mibangon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Sapi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mibangon! You can see the frustration on Mibangon's face as Sapi controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mibangon trying to control the position from guard on top but Sapi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sapi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sapi trying to keep a closed guard but Mibangon is proving a slippery customer.
Mibangon engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Wala Sapi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Minatay Mibangon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Wala Sapi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mibangon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
