Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shang Tsung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Barr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tsung's entrance music is Mortal Kombat Theme Remix. A fine choice. Shang Tsung has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shang Tsung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Al Barr! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barr darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Tsung misses with a wild combination.
Barr takes the fight into the clinch. Tsung tries to score a body lock takedown but Barr shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Barr prevents the takedown attempt.
Tsung breaks the clinch.
Tsung connects with a good right hand that stumbles Barr. Barr circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Barr has a takedown stuffed. Nice takedown defense from Tsung. No joy for Barr on that attempt. Barr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Shang Tsung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Al Barr. Tsung swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tsung darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Barr looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tsung drops Barr with a left right combo! Tsung follows him down to the ground into side control.
Barr is rocked! Tsung looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Barr is still on wobbly legs! Can Tsung finish him? Tsung controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsung trying to control the position but Barr is working away. Barr seems to have recovered his senses. Barr is looking to regain half guard here but Tsung keeps moving and retains side control. Tsung is looking to take a break and control but Barr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Barr regains half guard. Barr wants to control the action here but instead Tsung manages to pass to full mount! Barr looks gassed! Barr is trying to reverse the position but instead Tsung has taken his back - oops! Barr wants to escape the position.
Barr prevents Tsung from getting a body triangle. Tsung has the hooks in. Barr is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Tsung wants to control but Barr is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tsung keeps control of the position as Barr tries to break free.
Barr is keeping busy.
Barr can't escape the position.
Barr has hold of Tsung's leg, trying to break free but it's let Tsung lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Barr is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Tsung throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Shang Tsung!
