The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Manion shoots in and drives through. Kane sprawls well.
Manion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kane swivels and escapes.
Kane attempts a counter takedown but Manion avoids it well and moves away.
Kane moves into range and clinches up with Manion.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kane in particular looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manion slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Manion working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Manion is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kane rolls with it to try and escape but Manion cranks on the arm and Kane is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
