Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Boytsov (ranked 548 p4p, 1429 weight class) and Jimmy Skoog (ranked 72 p4p, 191 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Skoog steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boytsov.
Boytsov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Skoog's guard.

Skoog got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boytsov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Skoog has managed to get both his arms back between Boytsov's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Dmitry Boytsov will probably get the nod.

Boytsov sizes up Skoog with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
