Almeda comes to the cage accompanied by Anota Aí - MC Lipi. LaFleur is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rebellion. The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaFleur dodges the punch combination from Almeda.
A little jabbing left from LaFleur on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
LaFleur keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
LaFleur swings for the body but Almeda moves out of range.
Almeda throws a lazy right hand but LaFleur sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and LaFleur connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
LaFleur looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Almeda throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent LaFleur stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

LaFleur sends Almeda crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! LaFleur is motioning to the referee to let Almeda up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Almeda glances at the clock... BAM! LaFleur nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Almeda crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Almeda is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
