Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David Paun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, PotterStone Livingstone!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paun pushes Livingstone up against the cage in a clinch.
Paun gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Paun decides to return to a standing position.
Paun looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Paun trying to control the pace.
Paun postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Livingstone to stand up.
Livingstone gets caught flat footed, as Paun shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Livingstone wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Paun manages to pass to side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Paun gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Livingstone misses with a takedown attempt
and Paun moves into the clinch.
Paun blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Livingstone is fighting off a takedown attempt but Paun is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Livingstone to the mat. Livingstone regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Paun is working Livingstone over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Paun seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Paun throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Paun drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Paun as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Livingstone screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Paun! Nice submission victory there!
