Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Terrell Yates (ranked 2720 p4p, 2615 weight class) and Sean O Rally (ranked 159 p4p, 153 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terrell Yates! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean O Rally! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Rally misses with a looping left. O Rally fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Yates misses with a leg kick. Yates moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Yates stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from O Rally. O Rally misses with a straight left. O Rally throws the left hand but Yates avoids the punch easily. O Rally throws out a token jab with nothing on it. O Rally tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yates was well out of range. Poor timing from O Rally. O Rally bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. O Rally misses with a lunging right hand
and Yates counters with a series of strikes. O Rally will be more careful next time no doubt. O Rally lands with a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A big right from O Rally misses. Yates fakes a jab and throws a low kick but O Rally checks it well. O Rally throws a body punch but Yates moves out of range. Yates takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
That's one minute gone in the round. O Rally misses with a straight right. Yates seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. O Rally dodges the punch combination from Yates.
O Rally throws a jab but it's blocked by Yates. Yates ducks under a wild hook from O Rally. Yates throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fighters circling - O Rally throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sean O Rally seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. O Rally feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yatess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Yates swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Yates defending well as O Rally loads up on a big left hand. Yates will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
O Rally throws a right and a left that both miss. O Rally throws a head kick that misses. Yates throws a nice looking combination but O Rally bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. O Rally connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Yates's hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yates on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. This has been an exciting period of action! O Rally misses with an uppercut. Yates saw that one coming. No joy there for O Rally, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It looked like Yates was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Yates throws a sloppy head kick and O Rally counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A telegraphed right hand from O Rally misses the target. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Yates. Yates seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Terrell Yates is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. O Rally lands a jab to the nose. O Rally throws a body punch but Yates moves out of range. Yates steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Rally. Yates fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Yates counters with a two punch combo. O Rally tests Yates's chin there with a solid looking shot. O Rally is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Yates had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. O Rally checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. It seemed like O Rally was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. O Rally pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Yates ducks under a wild hook from O Rally. As O Rally looks to move away, Yates throws a big counter combo but O Rally just gets out of the way. This has been an exciting period of action! O Rally connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's four minutes gone in the round. O Rally shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Yates manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. O Rally keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. O Rally throws a punch but it's blocked by Yates. O Rally cracks Yates with a nice body shot. Yates gets underhooks to prevent O Rally's takedown attempt.
Yates presses O Rally against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. O Rally misses with the head strike.

Terrell Yates has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean O Rally. A head punch on the inside from Yates fails to land. A short uppercut from Yates. Yates stalls. A nice right hand lands inside from O Rally. A short right hand to the side of the head by O Rally.
That's five minutes gone in the round. O Rally misses with a hook from the clinch. O Rally fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
O Rally creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Yates escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Yates throws a right and a left that both miss. O Rally moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Yates rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but O Rally moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Yates walks into a stiff left hand from O Rally. Yates misses with a leg kick. Yates tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A combination from O Rally does no damage. Yates throws a wild combination but nothing lands. O Rally misses with a wild body shot. Yates throws a left and a right that both miss

O Rally fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Yates gets cracked there but stands up to it.
O Rally stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Yates looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Yates uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by O Rally.
Yates scores with a one two! O Rally had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Yates lands with a nice body kick. O Rally is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. O Rally scores with a sloppy right hand. Yates should have avoided that one. Yates uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from O Rally. O Rally fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yates avoids it really well and circles away. Yates connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Yates moves away from the strike by O Rally. Yates went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. O Rally with a jab. Yates ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Yates throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yates stalks O Rally and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into O Rally's face. O Rally staggers backwards, shaken. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sean O Rally dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. O Rally thuds his right hand into Yates's forehead from close range. O Rally dips to his left and cracks Yates with an uppercut! O Rally thows a leg kick but Yates checks it and Yates counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops O Rally! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Yates!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Terrell Yates! Terrell Yates decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
