Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Saku Kapanen!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yevgraf rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kapanen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Yevgraf seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kapanen lands an overhand right.
Kapanen lands the left hand.
Kapanen tries to clinch but Yevgraf moves out of range.
Yevgraf misses with a hook
and Yevgraf takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Yevgraf misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kapanen lands with a right hand.
Kapanen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Yevgraf throws the left hand but Kapanen avoids the punch easily.

Kapanen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yevgraf doesn't seem bothered though.

Kapanen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yevgraf swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kapanen has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Kapanen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kapanen! But no joy.

Kapanen has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Yevgraf takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kapanen jabs Yevgraf to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Yevgraf darts in and clinches Kapanen up against the cage.
Yevgraf is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Kapanen's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Yevgraf misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kapanen.
A nice left hand lands by Yevgraf.

Yevgraf digs a right hand into Kapanen's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kapanen's gas tank.

Yevgraf is leaning against Kapanen and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Yevgraf lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kapanen backwards.

Yevgraf lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Kapanen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Yevgraf cracks Kapanen with a nice body shot.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Yevgraf as Kapanen tries to tie him up.
Yevgraf has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kapanen uses from the top position.
Yevgraf is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kapanen throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Yevgraf's body to avoid the submission. Yevgraf has instead reached around Kapanen's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Yevgraf arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
