Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Pauli (ranked 2796 p4p, 2358 weight class) and Simon Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cross comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Irregular God kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross shoots in for a double leg but Pauli sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cross shoots in and drives through. Pauli sprawls well.
Pauli throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cross takes one on the button.
Simon Cross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pauli throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cross on the side of the head.
It looks like Simon Cross has been cut.
Cross dives in for a single leg takedown but Pauli sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Pauli looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wolfgang Pauli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Cross.
Cross shoots for a double leg takedown but Pauli sprawls well. He's pushed Cross's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pauli drops Cross with a straight right hand, right on the button! Pauli follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
