Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Balogh Szabolcs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ricardo Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szabolcs looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Cruz stuns Szabolcs with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ricardo Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Szabolcs takes a swing at Cruz's ribcage but misses.
Cruz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cruz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Szabolcs tries to avoid it but Cruz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Szabolcs to the ground. Szabolcs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cruz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Szabolcs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cruz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

It appears Szabolcs was looking to counter with a kick there.

Cruz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Cruz takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The fighters circle momentarily. Szabolcs darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Balogh Szabolcs will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
