Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rhashaun Kinkead (ranked 2155 p4p, 4410 weight class) and Deimos Arima (ranked 264 p4p, 441 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rhashaun Kinkead! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Deimos Arima! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinkead looking to score a takedown here. Arima is defending well but Kinkead drives through and ends up in Arima's guard. Kinkead slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Arima can't keep his opponent in guard - Kinkead advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kinkead is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kinkead trying to control but Arima is having none of it. Kinkead is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Arima is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kinkead looking to control and managing it successfully. Kinkead is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Arima is surviving well by controlling Kinkead's body position as best he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kinkead is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Arima to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Arima shrugs it off. Arima is squirming around, avoiding Kinkead's attempts to control the action. Kinkead controlling the position easily from mount. Kinkead tries to control but Arima wriggling away. Kinkead definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kinkead looking for a guillotine from mount but Arima is having none of it. Kinkead controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kinkead moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Arima has worked his arm free - good work by Arima!
Arima is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Arima won't allow Kinkead to pass to mount. Arima tries to kick Kinkead off but Kinkead keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kinkead is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Arima! Kinkead controlling from the full mount. Arima is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arima keeps trying to improve his position. Kinkead trying to control but he's not successful this time. Arima bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Arima is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Arima is looking to stand up but Kinkead won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kinkead wants to sweep but no luck. Kinkead has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Arima can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kinkead is looking for a triangle but Arima pushes his legs off easily.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Arima avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Arima with a flurry of punches that miss. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rhashaun Kinkead dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Kinkead looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Arima! Kinkead wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Arima, who protects the arm well. Arima is looking to reverse the position. Arima is still trying to improve position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kinkead tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Arima tries to control but Kinkead manages to take his back.

Rhashaun Kinkead overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Arima trying to control the hands but Kinkead breaks the grip. Kinkead looking for the choke but no joy. Arima is in bad spot here.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kinkead controlling the position well here. Arima rolled but Kinkead kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Both fighters are looking very determined. Kinkead looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Arima is controlling Kinkead 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. Kinkead looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kinkead is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Arima can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Arima trying to control but Kinkead is working from the bottom. Arima preventing the sweep. Arima got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kinkead has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Arima has managed to get both his arms back between Kinkead's legs - danger averted. Kinkead tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kinkead is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kinkead is keen to just control but Arima is a slippery customer. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rhashaun Kinkead dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Arima looking to score a takedown here. Kinkead is defending well but Arima drives through and ends up in Kinkead's guard. Arima throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kinkead works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Arima postures up.
Arima wants to get up but he can't break Kinkead's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kinkead looking for a sweep. Not yet Kinkead, not yet. Arima pushes down on Kinkead's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kinkead is trying to maintain the position but Arima is very close to passing his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kinkead wants to get back to full guard. Arima seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kinkead wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arima gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Kinkead throws a sloppy head kick and Arima moves out of range easily. Arima chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kinkead can pounce on him.
Kinkead lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kinkead looks to score with a jab to the body but Arima is just out of range. Kinkead swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kinkead changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Arima tries to avoid it but Kinkead manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Arima to the ground. Arima escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kinkead changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kinkead fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Arima misses with a takedown attempt and Kinkead counters with a takedown into side control. Kinkead is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Arima has escaped the position, nice work there. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Arima tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Rhashaun Kinkead is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arima tries to lock up and control but Kinkead gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kinkead controlling from the full mount. Arima is trying desperately to improve position. Kinkead sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Arima is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kinkead content just to control the position here. Kinkead seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Arima for as long as he can get away with. Deimos Arima has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Arima felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Kinkead has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Kinkead wants to control the pace but Arima is squirming around nicely. Kinkead takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Arima really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Arima tries to hold on but Kinkead postures up. Kinkead controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Rhashaun Kinkead showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kinkead has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
