Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hamza Kosen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 191 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kosen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rivera's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rivera looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kosen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Rivera has hold of Kosen's hands but Kosen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kosen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rivera with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rivera is rocked!
Kosen creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Rivera is out cold and this one is all over! Kosen climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hamza Kosen!
