Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tomura Shigaraki (ranked 2898 p4p, 3843 weight class) and Magomed Magomedsharipov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magomedsharipov has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Magomed Magomedsharipov looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shigaraki dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Magomedsharipov looks winded!
Shigaraki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Magomedsharipov has time to react.
Shigaraki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Shigaraki scores with a body shot.
Shigaraki darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Shigaraki stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Shigaraki fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Shigaraki shoots in for a takedown and gets it, with a heavy slam. That will score well with the judges.
Shigaraki slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Shigaraki advances to full mount.
Magomedsharipov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shigaraki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shigaraki is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Magomedsharipov goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Shigaraki!
