Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Pereira (ranked 3970 p4p, 3861 weight class) and Psycho Killer (ranked 420 p4p, 415 weight class). Pereira comes to the cage accompanied by Itsári - Sepultura. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira fails in his attempt to clinch.
Killer throws out a counter right but Pereira avoids it with no problem.

Pereira doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pereira moves in looking to clinch but Killer pushes him off.
Killer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pereira seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Killer lands a nice hook to Pereira's body. Pereira takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The crowd cheers as Killer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pereira doesn't seem phased though.

Pereira shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Killer as he jumps to the side.

Killer lands a left and a right that send Pereira crashing to the mat, dazed. Killer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Pereira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pereira seems to have got his legs back now.

Pereira jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Killer walks away with a smile on his face. Pereira gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Pereira shoots in looking for a takedown. Killer tries to sprawl out of it but Pereira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Killer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Pereira takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Killer in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
