Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Pauli (ranked 1930 p4p, 2790 weight class) and Simon Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cross is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Irregular God. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pauli leaves Cross with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pauli throws an overhand right that lands on Cross's shoulder, as Cross tries to avoid the shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cross.

Cross misses with a takedown attempt - Pauli sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wolfgang Pauli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Cross.
Cross closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pauli's guard.
Pauli seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Cross goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Pauli rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cross's guard! Nice work there by Pauli!
Cross had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pauli defends it easily.
Pauli is sitting in close to Cross's body. Cross has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pauli is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pauli is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cross.

Simon Cross spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
