Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Petcharon Darawan (ranked 2939 p4p, 20667 weight class) and Medieval Mercenary (ranked 254 p4p, 373 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Petcharon Darawan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Petcharon Darawan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 30 - 2, fighting out of New York, Medieval Mercenary!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercenary swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Darawan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Darawan connects with a leg kick.
Mercenary throws a leg kick that is checked
and Darawan counters with a leg kick.
Mercenary misses with an uppercut
and Darawan counters with a low kick, right behind Mercenary 's knee.
Mercenary misses with a hook. Darawan ducked under it nicely.
Darawan half committed to a counter leg kick.
Mercenary misses with an uppercut
and Darawan counters with a solid body kick.
Darawan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mercenary throws a head kick that misses.
Darawan drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Mercenary onto his butt! Mercenary pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Mercenary is rocked!
It looks like Medieval Mercenary has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mercenary misses with a few strikes there.
Mercenary is still on wobbly legs! Can Darawan finish him?
A solid leg kick lands there for Darawan.
Mercenary misses with a left hand
and Darawan counters with a nice body kick.
Mercenary looks winded!
Mercenary misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Darawan counters with a nice leg kick.
Mercenary seems to have recovered his senses.
Darawan scores with a spinning back kick!
Darawan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mercenary doesn't seem bothered though.

Darawan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Darawan.
Medieval Mercenary seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Darawan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mercenary.
Mercenary misses with a jab to the body
and Darawan counters with an inside leg kick.
Darawan lands with a shot to the body.
A nice leg kick lands there from Darawan.
Mercenary walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Darawan and drops face first to the floor! Mercenary's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Mercenary in no position to continue!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Petcharon Darawan!
