Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gluteus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvador Dali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus comes to the cage accompanied by Fredi - Pump Pump. Salvador Dali has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus moves into range and clinches up with Dali.

Dali is trying to break the clinch but Maximus has him pressed against the cage.

Maximus is pressed up against the cage. Dali has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Maximus down to the mat. Maximus avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Dali has gone for a leg lock! Maximus slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dali's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dali goes for a takedown attempt but Maximus pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Dali counters with a shoot takedown. Maximus fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maximus is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dali is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Dali is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Maximus is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Salvador Dali showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Maximus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dali paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dali closes the distance but Maximus moves to the side
and Maximus counters with a head kick. That will keep Dali thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Dali isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Maximus stacks Dali on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Maximus!

You can see the frustration on Dali's face as Maximus controls the position.
Maximus has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Dali had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Maximus is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dali Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Maximus's back instead.

I would just about give that final round to Salvador Dali.
I think Dali has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
