Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Claude!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Gray. Beautiful body shot.
Claude changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gray looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Claude fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Claude trying to control the position but Gray is working away.
Claude working the ground and pound but Gray is defending the strikes.
Gray wants to control but Claude postures up.
Gray is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gray wants to get back to his feet but Claude drags him back down.
Claude throws a strike aimed at the side of Gray's head but Gray avoids it well.

Claude sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gray is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Claude tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Claude misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Claude looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gray tries to buck Claude off but Claude is having none of it.

Claude lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gray down.
Gray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Claude on the ground.

Claude lands a nice forearm strike.
Claude tries to move to mount but Gray blocks the move with his legs.

Claude is working Gray over with some ground and pound from side control.
Claude lands a few punches from side control.
Claude misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gray takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Claude tries to advance to mount but Gray denies him.
Claude cracks Gray with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Claude looks up at the clock and then as Gray takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Claude smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Gray is trying to control Claude's posture but Claude avoids it.
Claude has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gray is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Claude is controlling him well.

Claude connects with a bit shot that sees Gray covering up! More strikes from Claude and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Claude is our winner by TKO!
