Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kyoji Horiguchi (ranked 3242 p4p, 3299 weight class) and Gage Jordan (ranked 183 p4p, 188 weight class). Jordan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Kray - Princess Cuts Mah Wrist. Gage Jordan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jordan explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Horiguchi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jordan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horiguchi throws a hook to the side of Jordan's head but Jordan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jordan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Horiguchi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Horiguchi wants to work for an arm triangle but Jordan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Horiguchi uses his free foot to push down on Jordan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jordan.

Horiguchi not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Horiguchi is working for an americana but Jordan has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Horiguchi was thinking about the submission.
Horiguchi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Horiguchi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jordan can't keep his opponent in guard - Horiguchi advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Horiguchi frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Jordan is looking to improve his position but Horiguchi isn't that keen on the idea.

Horiguchi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jordan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Horiguchi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jordan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Horiguchi passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jordan!
BOOM! Horiguchi connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Horiguchi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Jordan is looking to improve his position but Horiguchi isn't that keen on the idea.
Horiguchi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jordan is looking to escape.
Horiguchi lands a big shot there that rocks Jordan but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Horiguchi cracks Jordan with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
