This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; Jermaine Pearson! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; Andre Pereira!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Pereira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pearson tries to avoid it but Pereira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pearson to the ground. Pearson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
