This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Tommy Carter! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Bruce Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Wayne. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Carter (0) vs (4) Wayne
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Wayne wants to control but Carter is keeping him busy.
Wayne tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Wayne is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Wayne is sitting in close to Carter's body. Carter has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wayne is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wayne is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Carter.
