The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Chikorita fails with an attempt to clinch.
Greer tries to counter with a takedown but Chikorita is quick to defend against it.

Greer wants to control but Chikorita postures up.
Chikorita thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Chikorita has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Greer is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Chikorita yanks on the arm and Greer is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Chikorita.
