Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Bach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn comes to the cage accompanied by BJ Penn. Bach has chosen In the House In a Heartbeat as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bach wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Bach lands a body shot.
Penn avoids the body shot from Bach.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Penn. Penn trying to control the position but Bach is working away. Bach tries to bench press Penn off him but Penn keeps the position. Penn is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bach is looking to regain half guard here but Penn keeps moving and retains side control. Bach struggling a bit here. Bach is looking to reverse the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Penn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bach circles away. Penn avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bach swivels and escapes. Penn takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Penn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Penn moves out of range of the body kick. A right-left combo lands from Bach. Bach closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Penn to the mat! Penn manages to get full guard. Bach throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Penn works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bach trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Penn wants to sweep but no luck. Bach works a leg free and moves into half guard. Bach is looking to take a break and control but Penn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bach seems to be working for a kimura but Penn defends the submission attempt. Bach wants to free his trapped foot but Penn is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bach pulls his head out easily. Bach lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Bach looking to control but Penn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn gets back to half guard. Bach looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bach prevents Penn from improving his position. Penn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bach's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bach's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Penn lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Bach hold on?!
Penn is trying to stick to Bach's back but Bach is turning into Penn. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Penn's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bach. Penn wants to sweep here but Bach controlling him for the moment. Penn looking for a guillotine here but Bach defends easily.
Bach wants to control from the top but Penn keeps moving. Penn has an active guard here but Bach has managed to pass into half guard.
Bach is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Penn is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harry Bach dominated that round. That's time! Penn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bach cracks Penn with an open hand slap. Penn misses with a takedown and Bach counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Penn takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Bach lands a body shot.

Penn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bach sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Penn somewhat. Bach comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Bach scores with a body shot.
Bach is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Penn rather than just go for the knockout. Bach works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Bach attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. A jab from Bach does it's job there. Bach cracks Penn with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Penn falls to his knees and Bach doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harry Bach! Harry Bach is the new lightweight champion!
