Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cottonpicker Curtis (ranked 4612 p4p, 3417 weight class) and Italian Stallion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cottonpicker Curtis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cottonpicker Curtis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Italian Stallion! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stallion drives through with a takedown into Curtis's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Stallion scoring with punches to the head and body. Stallion looking to pass the guard. Curtis looking to control but Stallion passes into half guard.
Curtis tries to roll over but Stallion keeps him under control. Stallion controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stallion looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Curtis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curtis looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Curtis is breathing heavily. Stallion controlling the action here. Stallion prevents Curtis from improving his position. Stallion trying to control the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Curtis is looking for a sweep. Stallion is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Curtis won't allow Stallion to pass to mount. Still in half guard, Stallion seems content to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stallion. Curtis tries to counter with a takedown but Stallion is quick to defend against it. Stallion clinches up with Curtis and pushes him back against the cage. Stallion breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stallion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Stallion takes a little break here. Curtis wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curtis is pushing Stallion's head away, looking to escape. Stallion manages to hold on to the position though. A lull in the action here. Stallion scores with punches from side control. You can see the frustration on Curtis's face as Stallion controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Curtis is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Stallion is controlling him well. Curtis is trying to control Stallion's posture but Stallion avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stallion is trying to get an arm triangle but Curtis is defending well. Stallion decides to stand back up. Stallion shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Curtis napping and manages to drive through into side control! A lull in the action here as Stallion stalls from top position. Curtis is trying to get back to half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Italian Stallion dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Stallion moves into the clinch. Curtis has Stallion pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stallion manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Curtis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stallion walks away with a smile on his face. Curtis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Stallion misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stallion clinches. Stallion has clasped his hands together around Curtis's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curtis is looking to regain half guard here but Stallion keeps moving and retains side control. Stallion has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stallion is working Curtis over with some ground and pound from side control. Stallion controlling from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Italian Stallion has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stallion working away. Stallion taking a breather here. Stallion wants to stand but Curtis is controlling his arm. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Curtis wants to get back to his feet but Stallion drags him back down.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Curtis tries to keep at a distance but Stallion has taken the fight into the clinch. Stallion jumps guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stallion wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Stallion has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Curtis should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Stallion has tightened it up now! Curtis should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
