Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Riker (ranked 2920 p4p, 1602 weight class) and Kai Asakura (ranked 167 p4p, 114 weight class). Riker's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Soulfly - Pain. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Riker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kai Asakura! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asakura stuffs the takedown. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Asakura! But no joy. Riker fails with the takedown and Asakura connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Riker throws a predictable looking body shot
and Asakura counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Riker is lucky that one didn't land flush. Riker gets in close and instigates a clinch. Riker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Asakura backwards. Asakura breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Riker looks to score with a jab to the body but Asakura is just out of range. Riker gets a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Asakura has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Riker regains guard immediately. This has been an exciting period of action! Asakura is looking to stand up but Riker won't let him. Riker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Riker looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Asakura passes into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Asakura wants to stand but Riker has his arm trapped. A lull in the action here as Asakura stalls from top position. Riker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Riker tries to get out of the position. You can see the frustration on Riker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Riker is not content to let Asakura control the position. Asakura tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Riker manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Riker looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Asakura wants to free his trapped foot but Riker is holding on for dear life with his legs. Riker is holding on to half guard well. Riker moves into full guard.
Riker wants to sweep but no luck. Asakura is looking to stand up but Riker won't let him. Riker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Asakura defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Asakura is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Riker has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Asakura is looking to defend but Riker has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Asakura! Riker pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Asakura taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). William Riker! William Riker was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
