Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Arturo Lowery! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Joao Antonio Ferriera! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Ferriera misses. Lowery waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ferriera.
Ferriera clinches. Lowery swings wildly with an uppercut but Ferriera uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ferriera pulls Lowery into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ferriera trying to keep a closed guard but Lowery is proving a slippery customer.
Ferriera pulls Lowery in close to prevent any damage. Lowery's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferriera is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lowery is aware though and is defending well. Ferriera looking to control.
Ferriera is controlling Lowery's posture. Lowery has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lowery postures up.
Ferriera might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lowery haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Ferriera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lowery can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ferriera is trying to keep Lowery in close.
Ferriera is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lowery has his hands clasped together but Ferriera extends and breaks Lowery's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ferriera.
