Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard Hertz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeet Kune Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kune Do has chosen Everything in its right place- Radio Head as his entrance music. Jeet Kune Do has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Richard Hertz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hertz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hertz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hertz has control of Kune Do's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kune Do regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hertz looking to control but Kune Do is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kune Do is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hertz mounts Kune Do! Really nice guard pass there! Kune Do is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kune Do is trying to escape the mount but Hertz keeps good control and instead manages to take Kune Do's back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kune Do rolls, trying to escape but Hertz keeps control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kune Do rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Hertz is looking for submissions but instead, Kune Do has regained full guard.
Hertz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kune Do swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hertz is stalling in the full guard. Hertz passes Kune Do's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hertz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kune Do keeps working. Hertz content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hertz tries to pass to full mount but Kune Do defends it. Hertz is keen to just control but Kune Do is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hertz is trying to work for a kimura but Kune Do is defending well.
Kune Do manages to get to full guard.
Kune Do has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hertz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kune Do looking for a sweep. Not yet Kune Do, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hertz trying to control the position from guard on top but Kune Do is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hertz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hertz wants to control but Kune Do is keeping him busy. Hertz works to advance to full mount. Kune Do defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Hertz is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kune Do has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hertz trying to control but Kune Do is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Richard Hertz dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A head kick misses from Kune Do. Hertz moves out of range as Kune Do strikes. Hertz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hertz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hertz is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kune Do! Kune Do is trying to escape the mount.
Hertz is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Kune Do is forced to tap! Great finish!
