Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar wants to clinch.
Everett circles away from the clinch attempt.
Escobar darts in looking for a takedown but Everett gets double underhooks and turns Escobar into the cage.
Escobar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Everett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Escobar lands a big head kick that sends Everett tumbling to the mat! Escobar takes a step backwards and waves Everett back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Escobar is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Everett to keep the fight standing.
Ben Everett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Escobar.

Everett working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Escobar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Escobar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Escobar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Escobar is looking to work some ground and pound but Everett has wrist control.
Everett pushes a forearm under Escobar's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Escobar is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
