Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Coffey (ranked 5075 p4p, 3487 weight class) and Urvin Mortonfar (ranked 457 p4p, 361 weight class). Urvin Mortonfar will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Magnus Coffey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Urvin Mortonfar! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mortonfar blocks a low kick nicely. Mortonfar looks to land a combination but Coffey avoids it well. Coffey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Coffey shoots in looking for a takedown but Mortonfar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Coffey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mortonfar lands a head kick!

Mortonfar darts in looking for a takedown but Coffey gets double underhooks and turns Mortonfar into the cage. Mortonfar gets a clinch. Coffey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mortonfar smiles and moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mortonfar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Coffey is just riding it out for now. Mortonfar eventually gives up the hold. Coffey tries to get to full guard but Mortonfar has control of the leg. Coffey won't allow Mortonfar to pass to mount. Coffey on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Mortonfar scoring with strikes to the body and head. Mortonfar landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Mortonfar wants to control but Coffey is keeping him busy. Mortonfar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Coffey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Mortonfar lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Mortonfar wants to control but Coffey is keeping him busy.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mortonfar drives through and clinches with Coffey against the cage.

As Coffey backs off Mortonfar throws a huge counter combo but Coffey manages to avoid it all. Mortonfar dives in for a single leg takedown but Coffey sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Coffey appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Coffey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mortonfar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Coffey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coffey looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A momentary lapse in concentration from Coffey enables Mortonfar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Coffey manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Coffey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mortonfar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mortonfar's back! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Coffey avoiding Mortonfar 's attempts to control his hands. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coffey is hanging on to Mortonfar's back as he tries to escape.

Coffey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mortonfar on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mortonfar slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Urvin Mortonfar. Well Mortonfar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
