Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Kelvin (ranked 515 p4p, 1483 weight class) and Kurou Nishiyama (ranked 54 p4p, 147 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andrew Kelvin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kurou Nishiyama! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nishiyama clinches up with Kelvin and pushes him back against the cage. Nishiyama looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kelvin trying to control the position but instead, Nishiyama has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kelvin into the cage. A short right from Kelvin. Nishiyama fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kelvin tries to pull guard but Nishiyama won't allow it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kelvin. Nishiyama is trying to push Kelvin away but Kelvin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Nishiyama misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kelvin.

Kelvin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nishiyama doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Kelvin is controlling Nishiyama's posture. Kelvin seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Nishiyama stands up from guard. Let's bang! Decent striking displayed by Kelvin there. Nishiyama tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kelvin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nishiyama somewhat. A nice leg kick from Nishiyama, right into the meat of the thigh.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Nishiyama catches Kelvin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kelvin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nishiyama rushes Kelvin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kelvin scores with a shot to the side of Nishiyama's head. Nishiyama tries to throw a body punch but Kelvin avoids it by throwing Nishiyama back against the cage. Nishiyama is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. A head punch on the inside from Kelvin fails to land. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Kelvin lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Nishiyama misses with a body punch.

Kelvin throws a lazy right hand but Nishiyama sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kelvin takes a swing at Nishiyama's ribcage but misses. Nishiyama pushing out the jab but it's not landing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nishiyama wants to stand but Kelvin is controlling his posture from full guard. Nishiyama advances position into side control! Kelvin trying his best to control but Nishiyama has mounted him. Kelvin tries to hold on but Nishiyama pushes him away. Kelvin is squirming around, avoiding Nishiyama's attempts to control the action.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Nishiyama lands a big shot there that rocks Kelvin but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Nishiyama tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kurou Nishiyama has got the better of the ground game so far. Kelvin tries to hold on but Nishiyama postures up. Nishiyama trying to control but Kelvin is having none of it. Kelvin is looking to improve his position but Nishiyama isn't that keen on the idea.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Nishiyama wants to control the pace but Kelvin is squirming around nicely. Kelvin tries to hold on but Nishiyama pushes him away. Nishiyama scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nishiyama controlling the pace for now. Nishiyama prevents Kelvin from getting the reversal. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kurou Nishiyama showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Kelvin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Nishiyama dives in and grabs Kelvin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kelvin pushes down on Nishiyama's head and hops out. No luck with that takedown attempt from Nishiyama. Kelvin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nishiyama connects with a high kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Nice jab there from Kelvin. Nishiyama takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kelvin throws out a loose jab but Nishiyama uses good head movement to avoid it. A jab from Kelvin misses. Nishiyama looks to land a body kick but Kelvin moved away. Kurou Nishiyama is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nishiyama changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kelvin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kelvin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kelvin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kelvin is looking to control Nishiyama's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kelvin avoid being mounted? Nishiyama seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kelvin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kelvin holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Nishiyama looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kelvin! Nishiyama is looking to take a break and control but Kelvin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kelvin is looking for a sweep.

Nishiyama has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Good standup being displayed there by Kelvin as he connects with a hook. Nishiyama misses with a right hand and Kelvin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kurou Nishiyama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nishiyama throws a quick inside leg kick. Kelvin misses with a looping left. Nishiyama throws a jab but it's blocked by Kelvin. Nishiyama wants to clinch but Kelvin slips to the side and Kelvin counters with a straight right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! A punch combination from Nishiyama misses. Kelvin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kurou Nishiyama. I've got Nishiyama winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
