Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roman Reyes (ranked 2525 p4p, 2364 weight class) and Antoine LeMahieu (ranked 300 p4p, 284 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Reyes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Zack Hemsey - Vengeance. LeMahieu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mozart - Lacrimosa kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antoine LeMahieu!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes takes the fight into the clinch.

It looked like Reyes was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Reyes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Reyes counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Reyes.
Reyes closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. LeMahieu quickly recovers to half guard.
LeMahieu felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Reyes lands a nice short elbow.

The referee warns LeMahieu that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Antoine LeMahieu spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
