The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Chai defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Helvig.
Chai rushes Helvig and presses him up against the cage. Helvig gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Chai.

 The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Chai looking for the RNC. Chai keeps control of the position as Helvig tries to break free.
Chai just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Helvig defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Chai's arms.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Chai tries to get the hooks in deep but Helvig pushed the leg off.
Chai is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Helvig has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Chai has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Helvig taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Chai doesn't care though - he's delighted!
