Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Storm Father (ranked 4468 p4p, 3059 weight class) and Ching Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Storm Father! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ching Chong! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ben Watson and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chong shoots in but no luck this time. Father is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Chong. Father clinches up against the cage. Chong gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Father regains guard.
Chong prevents Father from getting back to his feet. Chong wants to control from the top but Father keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chong tries to free his leg and advance position but Father is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chong stops Father from standing up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Father drives through and clinches with Chong against the cage.
Father works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chong can do anything to dispel that myth. Father wants to get up but he can't break Chong's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Father got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Father has managed to get both his arms back between Chong's legs - danger averted. Chong looks winded! Father wanted to stand there but Chong had control of the position. Chong had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Father defends it easily. Father tries to stand but Chong is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Father stands up from Chong's guard - Father perhaps looking for a knockout. Father clinches. Chong blocks an uppercut.
Chong has picked Father up - he's going for a ride! Chong dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Chong is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Father sees it coming and defends easily. Chong is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Father tries to kick Chong off but Chong keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Father trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Chong is trying to work for a kimura but Father is defending well.
Chong wants to free his trapped foot but Father is holding on for dear life with his legs. Father is looking to escape. Chong is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Father! Chong working for a guillotine from mount but Father is in no mood to give up. Chong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Father. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chong is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Father has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Father! Chong is looking for a triangle here but Father uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Father stands up and we're back to a striking position. Chong tries to clinch up and Father counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chong thinking. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Storm Father dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Father moves into the clinch. Chong blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Chong wants the takedown. Father is fighting it off but Chong persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Father's guard against the cage. Father wants to stand but Chong is controlling the position. Father has his feet on Chong's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Father lands a jab. Chong has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Father fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chong, pushing him back against the cage. Chong is breathing heavily. Father throws an elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chong has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Father clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Father is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it. Father has managed to clinch.
Chong is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Father throws a head punch that misses. Father is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Chong can't fight it off and eventually Father manages to take the fight to the floor. Chong looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chong looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Father tries to stand but Chong is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Father gets to his feet. Chong looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Chong is looking to clinch. Father is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Chong. Some bone on bone action there as Father checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Chong tries to clinch but Father is having none of it. Father appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Chong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Father tries to counter by clinching up but Chong breaks away and moves out of range. Father forces Chong back against the cage and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Father misses with a hook from the clinch. Father throws a punch but it's blocked by Chong. Father misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Chong wants a takedown.
Storm Father has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ching Chong. Father prevents the takedown attempt.
Father makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Father lands a right hand that snaps the head of Chong backwards. Father swings wildly with an uppercut but Chong uses good head movement to avoid it. Father pushes Chong back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Father lands a right hand that snaps the head of Chong backwards. Father working aggressively here.
Father scores with a shot to the side of Chong's head. Chong tries for a takedown but Father manages to get underhooks.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Father. Storm Father has scored more points in the clinch so far. Father lands a left hand.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Father creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Father successfully pulls guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Father pushes Chong off and gets back to his feet.
Chong tries to clinch but fails miserably and Father counters with a straight right hand. Father drives through and clinches with Chong against the cage.
Father throws a punch but it's blocked by Chong. Father fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Chong has hold of one of Father's legs. Father is fighting the takedown attempt but Chong gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Chong won't allow Father to get back to his feet. Father has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Chong is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Father lands a hook to the side of the head. Father misses with some punches.
Chong blocks an uppercut.
Father throws a head punch that misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Storm Father dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Chong pushes Father up against the cage in a clinch. Father lands an uppercut. Father is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chong can do to turn this around? Chong tightens his grip and picks Father up, before dumping him to the ground. Father manages to land in guard. Father kicks Chong off and gets to his feet. Father tries to keep at a distance but Chong has taken the fight into the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Father creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A shot in the inside from Father. A short left from Father. Father pulls guard successfully.
Father is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chong is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Storm Father overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Chong is trying to drag Father to the mat but Father just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Father lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ching Chong has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chong has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Father after a bit of a struggle. Storm Father has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ching Chong. Chong's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Father is pressed up against the cage. Chong has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Father down to the mat. Father avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Storm Father is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Father lunges at Chong with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Chong's hand. Father rushes Chong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chong can't get the takedown.
Chong blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Father drags the fight down to the ground.
Father is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Father being controlled here, momentarily. Father is looking to stand up but Chong isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chong forces his way into half guard. Chong is trying a forearm choke I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chong seems to be looking for submissions.
Chong is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Father doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chong. Storm Father is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Chong is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Father to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Storm Father showed his dominance in that final round. Well Father has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
