Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chulo Valasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Karpatz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bo Karpatz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chulo Valasquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bo Karpatz! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valasquez avoids the head kick by Karpatz.
Karpatz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Karpatz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Karpatz. Valasquez shoots for a double leg takedown but Karpatz sprawls well. He's pushed Valasquez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. No joy there for Karpatz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Valasquez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Karpatz sprawls well initially but Valasquez persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Valasquez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Karpatz defending well though. Karpatz looks like he's trying to stand up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Karpatz looks gassed! Valasquez wants to free his trapped foot but Karpatz is holding on for dear life with his legs. Valasquez seems to be working for a kimura but Karpatz defends the submission attempt. Karpatz has hold of Valasquez's hands but Valasquez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Karpatz is trying to stand.
Valasquez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Karpatz has hold of Valasquez's hands but Valasquez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Valasquez maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Karpatz could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Valasquez has cracked it and Karpatz is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Valasquez!
