Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Valentino Wilkerson (ranked 3795 p4p, 3845 weight class) and Troy Bender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Valentino Wilkerson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Bender! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilkerson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bender tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A frustrated look appears on Bender's face as he tries to break the clinch. Wilkerson gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bender regains guard.
Bender is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Wilkerson dives into side control.
Wilkerson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Bender really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilkerson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wilkerson throwing shots but missing, from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bender tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wilkerson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bender throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Bender is trying to escape the position but Wilkerson is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A control attempt from Bender but he's now mounted! Wilkerson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Wilkerson scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Bender?

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilkerson landing strikes, looking to finish! The referee warns Bender that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Wilkerson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bender tries to hold on but Wilkerson postures up. Wilkerson is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilkerson controlling his opponent. Bender wants to control but Wilkerson is having none of it. Wilkerson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Wilkerson lands a big shot there that rocks Bender but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Wilkerson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bender is working to get back to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Valentino Wilkerson dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Bender fails to land the takedown. Wilkerson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Wilkerson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bender tries to avoid it but Wilkerson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bender to the ground. Bender escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bender throws a counter combo. Wilkerson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bender to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wilkerson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bender off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Wilkerson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bender sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wilkerson somewhat. Valentino Wilkerson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilkerson moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilkerson lands an elbow that stopped Bender in his tracks for a moment. Wilkerson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bender can do to turn this around? Bender is trying to pull guard but Wilkerson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Bender has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wilkerson uses from the top position. Bender looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Wilkerson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bender is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
