Sanchez has chosen Kodak Black - Super Gremlin as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sanchez quickly recovers to half guard.
Sanchez won't allow Askren to pass to mount.
Askren works his way into side control.
Askren takes a little break here. Sanchez wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Askren has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Sanchez is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Askren yanks on the arm and Sanchez is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Askren.
