Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Alfonso Melendez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Beeber!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Melendez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Beeber!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Beeber is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Beeber has his hands clasped together around Melendez's back. He's all about the action.

Beeber has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Melendez is on him like a limpet, forcing Beeber back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I would just about give that final round to Bob Beeber.
