Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Karter Carey!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Silvia!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carey is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Carey shoots in but Silvia avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Carey dives in and grabs Silvia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silvia pushes down on Carey's head and hops out.
Carey tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Silvia cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Carey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Carey is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Silvia.
Carey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silvia is fending him off so far but Carey persists. Nope, Silvia circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karter Carey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Silvia counters with a straight right hand.
Silvia lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Silvia.
It looks like Karter Carey has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Silvia as Carey shoots in.
Silvia doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Nice shot lands for Silvia.
Carey gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Silvia points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Carey wakes up just in time to hear Silvia thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Shawn Silvia really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bloodbath MMA Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
