Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Fremed (ranked 3033 p4p, 3830 weight class) and Braiden Snyder (ranked 322 p4p, 381 weight class). Braiden Snyder has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Josh Fremed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Braiden Snyder! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snyder shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fremed manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fremed looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Snyder slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Snyder trying to control the position from guard on top but Fremed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snyder accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Snyder stays in close to Fremed's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fremed keeping full guard, as Snyder tries to pass. Snyder wants to stand and escape but instead Fremed has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snyder not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Snyder trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Fremed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Snyder has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fremed has managed to get both his arms back between Snyder's legs - danger averted. Fremed throwing strikes from guard but Snyder blocks nicely. Fremed postures up.
Snyder pulls Fremed in close to his closed guard and prevents Fremed from doing any damage or advancing position. Snyder wants to sweep but no luck. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fremed tries to sprawl but Snyder drives through with a takedown into half guard. Fremed blocking the ground and pound attempt from Snyder. Snyder wants to control but Fremed is keeping him busy. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. It looks like Snyder is going to stand back up.
Snyder is looking to take a break and control but Fremed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Snyder is taking a breather. Fremed says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Snyder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fremed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fremed wants to control but Snyder is keeping busy and won't allow it. Snyder sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fremed defending well though. Snyder trying to mount his opponent but Fremed defends it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Snyder closes the distance and clinches. Fremed is fighting off a takedown attempt but Snyder is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fremed to the mat. Fremed regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Snyder trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Snyder wanted to stand there but Fremed had control of the position. Fremed keeping moving, preventing Snyder from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snyder would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Snyder throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fremed works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Snyder wanted to stand there but Fremed had control of the position. Snyder is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. It looks like Snyder might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Snyder feints and as Fremed raises his hands in defense, Snyder changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Snyder tries to free his leg and advance position but Fremed is retaining full guard. Snyder in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Snyder is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fremed working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Snyder. Snyder controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Snyder trying to control but Fremed is working from the bottom.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fremed is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Snyder defends well. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Snyder wanted to stand there but Fremed had control of the position.

That's seven minutes gone in the round. Snyder wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fremed keeps working. Snyder sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fremed is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Snyder wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fremed, who protects the arm well. Snyder throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Snyder in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Fremed struggling a bit here. Snyder thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Snyder wants to stand but Fremed is controlling his arm. The ground and pound from Snyder seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Snyder tries for a kimura but Fremed is defending well. Snyder throwing shots but missing, from side control. Snyder remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
That's nine minutes gone in the round.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fremed working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Snyder. Snyder wants to pass the guard but Fremed is keeping the position. Snyder must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Snyder trying to control the position from guard on top but Fremed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Braiden Snyder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Snyder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
