Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brownie Anderson (ranked 750 p4p, 2098 weight class) and Eli Vieira (ranked 103 p4p, 237 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Iron man. Brownie Anderson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eli Vieira's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 33 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eli Vieira! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson misses with a hook. Anderson scores with a body shot.
Anderson looks to land a right hand but Vieira moved out of range. Anderson looks to land a left hand but Vieira moved out of range nicely. We've been hearing reports that Anderson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Vieira fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Vieira steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Anderson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No joy there for Anderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Anderson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A combination from Anderson does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vieira looks to score with a jab to the body but Anderson is just out of range. Anderson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Vieira to counter with a crisp jab. Vieira tries for a takedown but Anderson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Anderson throws a big counter combination but Vieira scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Vieira defending well as Anderson loads up on a big left hand. Vieira looks to score with a jab to the body but Anderson is just out of range. Anderson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vieira decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anderson's guard. Anderson pulls Vieira in to control the position. Vieira sitting in guard, not really doing much. Anderson wants to stand and escape but Vieira is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vieira is one step ahead there. Vieira trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom. Vieira looking to pass the guard. Vieira trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Anderson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vieira.
Vieira drives through with a takedown into guard. Vieira looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Vieira trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson is trying to control the position but Vieira postures up. Anderson wants to sweep but no luck. Anderson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Vieira has picked Anderson up and slammed him! Anderson can't keep hold of the triangle and Vieira manages to pass to side control! Anderson is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Anderson is looking for a sweep. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Brownie Anderson will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Anderson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Vieira closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A combination from Anderson does no damage. A big right from Anderson misses. Anderson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Vieira is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Anderson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vieira checks the leg kick. Anderson misses with the combination.

and Vieira takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Anderson misses with a double jab.
Vieira slips under a jab. Anderson throws a right and a left that Vieira avoids nicely. Anderson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vieira can do to turn this around? Anderson misses with a hook. Vieira is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Anderson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vieira backs up against the cage.

Vieira ducks under a wild hook from Anderson. Vieira shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anderson sprawls well. Anderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vieira gets slowly back to his feet. Anderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vieira tries to counter with a clinch but Anderson shakes him off and moves away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vieira dives in for a single leg takedown but Anderson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Anderson looks to land a combination but Vieira avoids it well.

Anderson gets caught napping as Vieira dives in and scores a takedown. Anderson manages to retain guard. Anderson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Vieira manages to pass to side control. Anderson is looking to control Vieira's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Anderson avoid being mounted? Anderson tries to get to full guard but Vieira has control of the leg. Anderson is trying to stand back up but Vieira is controlling him

Anderson wants to get back to his feet. Anderson is staying active underneath Vieira, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Vieira is controlling the pace.

Brownie Anderson dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Anderson throws a right and a left that both miss. Vieira fails with a takedown attempt. Vieira looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Anderson! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson wants to get back to his feet. Vieira wants to control but Anderson is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Anderson is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Vieira looking to control but Anderson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Anderson tries to reverse the position but Vieira maintains control. Anderson manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Anderson pushes Vieira off and gets back to his feet. Vieira tries for a takedown but Anderson circles away easily and Anderson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Anderson throws a right hand that misses
and Vieira connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A looping hook to the body misses from Anderson. Vieira does a little dance to reset his feet. A little jabbing left from Vieira on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Vieira avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Brownie Anderson is winning the standup battle so far. Vieira slips under a jab from Anderson. Vieira lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Vieira closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Anderson's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Vieira showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Eli Vieira has got the better of the ground game so far. Anderson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Anderson working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Vieira has passed into half guard!
Vieira seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Anderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Vieira is controlling the pace.
Vieira is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Brownie Anderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Anderson wants to improve his position but Vieira is controlling well.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brownie Anderson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Anderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
