Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mehdi Kanaani (ranked 2405 p4p, 23776 weight class) and Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 220 p4p, 383 weight class). Kanaani's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg - Nuthin' But A G Thang. Mehdi Kanaani had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Kanaani.
Kanaani has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts in the buildup to the fight.
Zakrzewski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kanaani sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kanaani appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Kanaani. That snapped Zakrzewski's head back.
Kanaani connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Krzysztof Zakrzewski has been cut.
Zakrzewski throws a sloppy head kick
and Kanaani counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kanaani lands a big uppercut and Zakrzewski crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Zakrzewski looks OK. Kanaani waves Zakrzewski back to his feet!
