This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 43 wins and 23 losses; Trip Fontaine! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 113 wins and 49 losses; Pacer Dalton!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Wesley Smith.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Dalton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fontaine sprawls well. Fontaine wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dalton gets slowly back to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dalton has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Dalton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fontaine avoids it really well and circles away.

I really don't envy Fontaine right now.
